I am and always will be a writer.  A lover of words.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communications and my Masters in English Literature.  I have been a teacher and a journalist but the job that I love the most is the one I work 24/7 as mom to my seven children...my Brady Bunch plus one (the title of my column and blog).  I have lived in Europe and all over the United States and am now very content to stay in Florida.  I am a blissfully happy, fun loving, free spirited, adventurous, people collecting, self admitted "ditz." I am madly in love with my best friend (who also happens to be my husband). I am proudly outspoken on the subject of Autism and Special Needs because of my two youngest boys. I lost my first husband to cancer and feel like the most blessed person on the face of the earth to have found a second chance at love!!! My family is my link to all that is good. They are my life force, my comfort, and my joy...and they bring a heck of a lot of laughter into my world!
