In an effort to be closer to its customers, the Sound Exchange is moving to 807 W. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon, in the Kings Row Shopping Center anchored by Big Lots, July 1. For more than 20 years, the Sound Exchange has been nestled in a shop in La Viva Plaza on Lumsden Road. However, general manager Jim Butcher said it was time to make a move. "We wanted to be in a more convenient location for more shoppers," said Butcher. Sound Exchange has Florida’s largest inventory of new and used CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, classic stereo equipment and video games. The store also does special orders and stocks a minimum of 30,000 CDs, DVDs and video games in each store, plus tens of thousands of vinyl LPs. In addition, music lovers can sell or trade …
