The Museum of Science & Industry, 4801 E. Fowler Ave. in Tampa, will offer the Tampa Bay community its last opportunity of the year for discounted MOSI admission Saturday, Dec. 1. MOSI hosts several $5 Days each year to help community members of all income levels to access MOSI exhibit galleries, including The Amazing You exhibition; Kids In Charge!, the largest children’s science center in the nation; and more than 450 hands-on, interactive exhibits. Ho-ho-ho! Santa Claus again will be in attendance at the Westfield Brandon shopping mall, in time to snap holiday pictures for keepsakes and giving. The Santa Claus schedule has been posted online, showing that Santa Claus will be making his way down from the North Pole in time for his "Pre- Black-Friday Schedule." That means you can first expect to see Santa at his post Nov. 17-21. Through Dec. 24, Santa will be at his post Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with one exception. On Dec. 24, Santa's hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Santa will not be available on Nov. 22, Thanksgiving Day. NORAD can help you track Santa's progress as he makes his way to the Bloomingdale area. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is charged with keeping the United States and Canada safe from dangers originating from the sky or space. Tonight, however, the Colorado-based government agency adds one more important task to its daily list of duties. The agency will again provide its Official Santa Tracker (http://www.noradsanta.org/) that marks The Big Man's every move as he makes his way throughout both hemispheres.
