Riverview Home Damaged in Fire
Hillsborough County firefighters were able to quickly put out the blaze on Tarragon Drive.
A homeowner’s alarm system gets the credit for alerting Hillsborough County Fire Rescue to a blaze that broke out in a Tarragon Drive home in Riverview this morning, Feb. 7. The alarm alerted firefighters to a possible problem at the 10331 Tarragon Drive home. Upon arrival, firefighters were able to put out the fire, which was concentrated to the kitchen in the area of the stove, a fire rescue media release stated. Damage from the fire was limited to the kitchen, but smoke damage is evident throughout the home, the release said. No one was home at the time the fire broke out and no injuries were reported.
