Get $10 Off at Outback to Celebrate Spring

The Tampa-based restaurant chain is offering a deal to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Local residents looking for a way to celebrate the official arrival of spring on Wednesday, March 20 can enjoy a $10-off deal courtesy of Outback Steakhouse. The Tampa-based restaurant chain is offering a special coupon via its Facebook page. It’s good for taking a 10-spot off the purchase of any two entrees. Once patrons sign up for the coupon, they can use it at the nearby FishHawk restaurant, 16547 Fishhawk Blvd  Lithia, or any of the chain’s other locations. Outback isn’t the only business celebrating spring with special deals either. GoBankingRates.com has a list of discounts posted on its website. Angelina's Fine Italian Cuisine Closes Its Kitchen in Valrico

Angelina's Fine Italian Cuisine has closed its doors in Valrico, but a new restaurant is planned to take its place in Brandon.

  The Angelina's italian restaurant is closed in Valrico, across the street from Lithia Springs Elementary School, just north of the entrance to the River Hills Country Club and residential community. In 2003, Anthony Cimino brought his Neopolitan cuisine to Brandon when he opened Angelina's Italian Restaurant at 111 East Brandon Blvd. The restaurant had done a brisk eat-in and take-out trade and quickly became a favorite of Italian cooking aficionados with dishes such as Linguini al Frutti di Mare, a shellfish entrée prepared in the tradition of backstreet Napoli. Winthrop Town Founder Talks About Construction Under Way

Construction continues at the neotraditional town at the corner of Bloomingdale Avenue and Providence Road, founded by John and Kay Sullivan of Valrico.

  What's going on at Winthrop? The construction in view now on Bloomingdale Avenue, between Watson and Providence roads, is for the upcoming Egg & I breakfast eatery and for another restaurant yet to be named. But this is just a sampling of the commerce that will line the Bloomingdale Avenue border of the neotraditional community founded by John and Kay Sullivan. The area is west of the Winthrop Events Centre — which features the Barn Theatre at Winthrop and the Winthrop Pole Barn — and east of Regions Bank. "There's about 500,000 square feet left [to develop] on Bloomingdale Avenue," John Sullivan said. "People don't realize how much is going to be there. A lot of it is going to be housing." Wish List for Winthrop as Construction Heats Up

Motorists traveling Bloomingdale Avenue between Watson and Providence roads can't help but notice the construction under way west of the Winthrop Events Centre and just east of Regions Bank. What's coming, and what would you like to see open?

  What's going on at Winthrop? Ground is breaking on the tract of land that is designated for retail in the neotraditional community founded by Valrico residents John and Kay Sullivan. It's the area west of the Winthrop Events Centre — which features the Barn Theatre at Winthrop and the Winthrop Pole Barn — and just east of Regions Bank. It's already been reported that The Egg & I will open to serve breakfast and lunch at the Winthrop Town Centre. Also, a full-service Italian restaurant is sought for the area, according to the report. What restaurant would you like to see there?
