Riverview Resident Pleads Guilty to Filing False Tax Claims, Identity Theft

The 33-year-old faces time in federal prison.

News Report Arswaya Ralph, 33, of Riverview, pled guilty May 31 to filing a false claim with the Internal Revenue Service and identity theft, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office. She faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison for the false claim charge and 15 years in federal prison for the identity theft charge. According to the plea agreement filed in United States District Court Middle District of Florida Tampa Division, on June 2, 2011, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at Ralph’s home in Riverview.
