Clowns will help children understand gravity, learn strength-building routines and explore the art of juggling in Science of the Circus.
Clowns from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey will amaze children of all ages as they bring a live, interactive performance to the Museum of Science and Industry Saturday, Dec. 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Science of the Circus event will feature activities such as exploring and understanding gravity, examining the art of juggling and learning strength-building routines, all led by the clowns. MOSI is located at 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa. The day will feature more than 450 hands-on activities, plus the Ringling Bros. The Museum of Science & Industry, 4801 E. Fowler Ave. in Tampa, will offer the Tampa Bay community its last opportunity of the year for discounted MOSI admission Saturday, Dec. 1. MOSI hosts several $5 Days each year to help community members of all income levels to access MOSI exhibit galleries, including The Amazing You exhibition; Kids In Charge!, the largest children’s science center in the nation; and more than 450 hands-on, interactive exhibits. News Report Hurricane season has arrived. And to help residents prepare, the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County, in partnership with the Museum of Science & Industry, 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa, will host the 2012 Tampa Bay Hurricane Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, MOSI. Admission to the Tampa Bay Hurricane Expo is free, and will include access to MOSI’s Astronaut Training Adventure. In addition, Tampa Bay Hurricane Expo guests can enjoy MOSI exhibit galleries and one standard IMAX Dome Theatre film for $8 per person (children unde r2 admitted free).
