Riverview Chamber Honors Members at Annual Dinner
The chamber paid tribute to the business people who have supported the chamber and community throughout the year at its annual dinner Jan. 18.
For Lisa Kennedy, owner of Alley Cat Pest Control in Riverview, the third time proved a charm. During the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce annual dinner Jan. 18, Kennedy first appeared on stage to open the event by singing the National Anthem. The 2012 honorary mayor of Riverview then followed up by introducing those attending the dinner to the 2013 honorary mayor, Elijah Heath. But, to her surprise, Kennedy was called up to the stage a third time -- this time to receive the Business Person of the Year award from last year's recipient Erik Butler of TakeOut Butler. State-certified pest control operators, Kennedy and her husband, Cliff, started Alley Cat Pest Control in 2007 and quickly became involved with the Riverview community. In …
