Here's some things you might want to know as you go about your day.

1. It's going to be another hot day, with temperatures reaching 91 degrees. And, according to Weather.com, there's also a 50 percent chance of rain in the Bloomingdale Patch area. So lather on plenty of sun screen and bring an umbrella is you're planning an outdoor activity. 2. The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Bazaar and Yard Sale today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at the Boardwalk of Riverview Offices located off of Gibsonton Drive (between U.S. 301 and I-75), 10011 Water Works Lane, Riverview. 3. GET OUT: Weekend Events Preview May 27-29

With a variety of entertainment venues and restaurants in the area, there's no reason to spend the weekend at home. We've put together a list of fun things to do in the Bloomingdale area.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Where/when: Stop by The Farm, 7818 Lithia-Pinecrest Road Lithia, Friday night for some patriotic music and a special flag ceremony to celebrate Memorial Day. Why go: The Farm will host a special flag ceremony at its concert May 28 in honor of all the military who have paid the ultimate price. Here's some things you might want to know as you go about your day.

1. The 2011 Brandon Business Expo is scheduled for May 19 from 3:30 to 8 p.m. at the Florida State Fairgrounds Special Events Center. The expo, sponsored by the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, will celebrate its 23rd anniversary with this event, open to the public. The event features business vendors and a taste-off with local restaurants. More than 200 exhibitors will showcase their businesses during the event. Product sales are permitted. Exhibitor space can be booked now. Member booth fees are $225 and prospective members pay $325. Booth prices will increase by $50 after May 1.
