Florida Highway Patrol Plans Holiday Weekend Crackdown On Drunk Driving
Drivers who suspect they are sharing the road with a drunk driver can call *FHP (*347) on their cell phones to contact FHP.
Drunk drivers beware, the Florida Highway Patrol is participating in the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign through Labor Day. The FHP will join thousands of other law enforcement and highway safety agencies across the nation through Sept. 5 to reduce the number of impaired drivers on Florida’s roadways “Drunk driving is simply not worth the risk. Not only do you risk killing yourself or someone else, but also the trauma and financial costs of a crash or an arrest for impaired driving can be significant,” said FHP Director, Col.
