Best of 2012: Best Customer Service in Town

Patch's 2012 Customer Service Challenge was a roaring success. The final round featured the Coffee House and Orange Home Accessories.

In looking back at 2012, our 2012 Customer Service Challenge was one of our favorite things here at Bloomingdale Patch. We loved celebrating the businesses that do such a great job of taking care of their customers. After all, we're all neighbors, right? The Coffee House Crowned Customer Service Champ

The readers of Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch chose The Coffee House in FishHawk Ranch as the local business with the best customer service.

Who has the best customer service in the Bloomingdale-Riverview area? We asked and you answered. Boy, did you answer! We started out with 64 businesses, and after weeks of polling to narrow down the field of players, The Coffee House has emerged the champion in Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch’s first-ever customer service competition. The Coffee House edged Orange Home Accessories by a final tally of 10,190 to 8,967 in the championship round of the contest. Shannon Coughlin, manager of The Coffee House, was thrilled to learn the business had won. She'd placed fliers on the front door and drive-thru window urging customers to vote but said she was overwhelmed by the response, especially the personal shout-outs to her. A professional barista …

After weeks of nail-biting competition, we’re down to the final two businesses in Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch’s 2012 Readers’ Choice customer service tournament. Who will be declared the champion? Is it Orange Home Accessories? Or, perhaps The Coffee House is your favorite? Only you can decide and here’s how: In this final championship round, each poll vote is worth 1 point, each favorable comment on this story is worth 20 points, and each favorable directory review written during the polling period is worth 50 points. In addition, we'll award 200 bonus points for the business with the most total favorable reviews on their directory listing overall. Even so, all my Christmas. wedding and birthdays gifts are purchased at Orange, beautifully wrapped, and sent to the recipients.
