Bloomingdale Welcomes New Taxing District Board Members
Longtime Bloomingdale resident Dave West has assumed the chairmanship of the taxing district board.
With the resignation of Thom Snelling after 17 years on the Bloomingdale Special Taxing District Board, the board announced this month that longtime Bloomingdale East resident Dave West was unanimously elected president of the district's board of trustees. Snelling, the former president, is moving out of the district and is no longer eligible to serve on the board. West, who had been the former vice president of the board, will serve the remainder of Snelling's two-year term. West is a former member of the Bloomingdale Homeowners Association board and an active member of the Brandon Rotary Club.
