The Riverview Idol contest at Riverview High School begins tonight, Feb. 26, with three nights of competition scheduled before a crown is earned.
Set to kick off tonight, Feb. 26, on the Riverview High School stage, is another year of Riverview Idol competition, with 25 students vying to take home the seventh-year crown. Advancing through audition from a field of 40 to 45 contestants, "all 25 students will sing [tonight], and each audience member will get one ballot on which they will circle 10 names." The singers with the most votes will advance to the second round of competition — the "Top 10 Round" — March 5 at the high school. The third, and final round, will be held the Tuesday after spring break, March 19, also at Riverview High.
