So terribly sad. I REALLY hope they find who did this. Kim left a beautiful tribute. She herself isRead More a beautiful soul. I hope this family gets some sort of closure.

Heaven has received a new dancing angel. It is so hard to accept how our lives will end and theRead More anguish left behind. We were blessed to have Denny & Shelley in our lives too.

I am sure the FishHawk community will feel her loss. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.Read More I only know about her through your article, but my goodness, what a heartbreaking loss for the country. Strong girls who want to make a difference for womanhood and step up to the challenge of being peer role models are few and far between, to lose one so early, a tragedy. You are in my prayers.

My sympathies to the Mott family. Olin was such a great guy who did so much charitable work in theRead More community including the TOPS soccer league at BAYSL. He will be greatly missed.

I was a county commission reporter at the time Fred Karl, who had already retired as a Supreme CourtRead More justice, agreed to come out of retirement and help out Hillsborough County at a time when growth and, unfortunately, graft were rampant. I was, frankly, in awe of this guy who'd been an Army tank commander at the Battle of the Bulge, a state legislator and Supreme Court justice. But during his first week on the job, he lumbered into the press room at County Center, introduced himself in that gosh-darn manner his and then asked what he could do to help us. My Trib co-worker, the late Jim Sloan, and I were stunned. No one at the county had ever made that kind of gesture. Through the years I knew him, Fred was always friendly, accessible and a true gentleman. We need more more public servants like him.

If your going to rant your liberal BS at least get your facts straight! The general was a trueRead More American....something you obviously know nothing about! Even if he was the general that led the invasion of Iraq he would have been following orders.

I think you have your wars mixed up. You are displaying your ignorance to the public.

Liberalist views are undoubtedly from individuals whom have never served either in the armed forcesRead More or in a public service manner (police, fire etc).

Very sad. I had the privilege of interviewing Colleen. She was a gracious, friendly lady with anRead More amazing spirit.
