Dr. Richards-Rowley is amazing! She is kind, empathetic and really connected to me as a hands on parent. With that being said, her front office person Jackie, makes it unbearable. Today, I rushed from my downtown office to pick up my infant son with a 102 temperature. Both my husband and Ieft work and intended to go to the emergency pediatric care place near our home. We did not realize it was only after hours so we rushed to Dr. Richards-Rowley's office. Both our cell phones were dead and we did not call ahead. Jackie was short and treated us like less than humans simply because it was lunch time and we did not have an appointment or call ahead. There was no concern for our child. When I left I was near tears with anger and disgust.
I'll tell you that her front officer person is bearable in the best of situations. No superb customer service or small talk but if you are late to an appointment or have an emergency or foresee having these scenarios be aware of the less the kind treatment that will likely occur.
Thank the lord another pediatrician's office was willing to squeeze us in.
