Known for its award-winning music programs, Bloomingdale Senior High School is located on 2 acres on Bloomingdale Avenue. The school was constructed in 1987 and serves Valrico area students in grades 9 through 12. Its music program is consistently among the top in the state and the Rajun Bull Band is one of the largest in the state with 250 members. Its mascot is the bull and the school colors are red and white with black trim. Its football stadium is named for its first principal, Charley Harris.
