Coin Show

The Brandon Coin Club will host a coin and currency show Saturday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brandon Elks Lodge, 800 Centennial Lodge Dr., Brandon. It will feature 30 dealers, appraisals, food, door prizes and a free coin grab bag for all children under 12.

Music And Wine

Cork & Olive Wine Bar & Cafe, 1026 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico, will host Sandy Nitch, featuring jazz, blues, and pop favorites, Saturday, Aug. 17 at 8 p.m. 

Back-To-School Bash

St. Stephen Catholic School, 10424 Saint Stephen Circle, Riverview, will host a free back-to-school bash Sunday, Aug. 18 from 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be games, food, drinks, music, a bounce house and inflatable slide, and a chance to win prizes.

Concerts For A Cause

Category Three will perform the final Concerts for a Cause Friday, Aug. 16 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Park Square in FishHawk Ranch. 

The concerts are free. However, those attending are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for Feeding America Tampa Bay. 

World Karaoke Championship

The Florida State Finals for the World Karaoke Championship will take place Saturday, Aug. 17 at O'Brien's Irish Pub, 701 W. Lumsden Rd., Brandon. Registration begins at 1 p.m. and the contest takes place at 2 p.m. 

Just For Laughs

FishHawk Tavern 16144 Churchview Dr., Lithia, hosts an Open Mic Comedy Night each Sunday at 8 p.m. Sign-ups start at 7:30 p.m.
