FishHawk Resident Receives Superman Award

The Hillsborough County Council PTA/PTSA presented the award to Steve Kistler for his service as a volunteer tutor at Bevis Elementary School.

Steve Kistler, a FishHawk Ranch resident and owner of AdvantEdge Sports Recruiting Videos and Videosyncrasy, has received Hillsborough County's first Superman Award for his outstanding male volunteer service as a tutor.

Kistler was nominated by the Bevis Elementary School PTA and received the award from the Hillsborough County Council PTA/PTSA after logging more than 200 hours tutoring students in both reading and math.

He hopes that through his example, his second-grade son can learn the true meaning of giving back through volunteering and what it means to be a positive male role model.
