Riverview Chamber to Host St. Pat's Day Golf Tournament

The tournament will take place March 17 at the Bloomingdale Golfers Club.

Teams of golfers will hope the luck o' the Irish is on their side as they take to the greens Saturday, March 17, for the 18th annual Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce's St. Patrick's Day Tournament.

The fundraising tournament is set to begin at , 4113 Great Golfers Place, Valrico, with a shotgun start at 8 p.m. 

This year, the chamber has teamed up with John E. S. Cochrane Golf Schools, located at Bloomingdale Golfers Club, to offer all players a free golf clinic with the pros at 7 a.m. Players will have the choice of attending a putting (distance control) clinic or slicing clinic.

Golfers also will enjoy a breakfast provided by Chick-fil-A at Lake Brandon Village before heading out to the putting green or John E. S. Cochrane school teaching area for some tips.

While out on the course, golfers will have the opportunity to have a video swing analysis for $25 (a $50 value). Bring a check or cash for the video analysis.

The chairwoman of this year's golf tournament is Jill Andrew of Superior Residences of Brandon Memory Care and the co-chair is Rich Rohde of R. Processor Inc.

Pot of Gold sponsors are Huth and Booth Photography, Mosaic Fertilizer LLC, Superior Residences of Brandon Memory Care and Tampa Electric Co.

The hole in one sponsor with a $15,000 cash prize is Ed Morse Cadillac of Brandon.

The chipping contest sponsor is Dave's Window Tinting; the putting contest sponsor is Four Paws Veterinary Hospital; and the beverage cart sponsor is AutoWay Nissan of Brandon.

Hole sponsors are A-Plus Hearing Center Inc., Ace Hardware of Riverview, Camp Bow Wow Tampa South Shore, Century 21 Beggins-Joe Eletto, Chick-fil-A at Lake Brandon Village, Ed Morse Cadillac, Huth and Booth Photography, John E. S. Cochrane Golf Schools, Mosaic Fertilizer LLC, Superior Residences of Brandon Memory Care, Sweet Bay Supermarkets and Tampa Electric Co.

Green sponsors are Blu Marc Printing and Pivotal Business Services.

 So far, the teams include ADR Inspections, Huth and Booth Photography, Mosaic Fertilizer LLC, P.F. Auto Glass Inc., Pepin Distributing Co., Rayco Electric, South Bay Hospital, Steve Sharp, Superior Residences of Brandon Memory Care, Tampa Electric Co. (last year's winning team) and Sweet Bay Supermarkets.

The cost for a foursome is $350 and includings mulligrans, putting and chipping contests and meals. The cost for an individual player is $80.

Hole sponsorships are still available for $150 and entitles the sponsor to have a table with brochures, business cards and product samples near one of the 18 holes.
