Newsome's Noah Schaller Commits to Play Football at Heidelberg

The 6-foot, 220-pound linebacker was the team captain for the Wolves.

Newsome High School senior Noah Schaller has committed to attend Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, and play football in the fall.

While at Heidelberg, he plans to study business administration.

The 6-0, 220-pound linebacker was team captain for the Wolves and made 34 tacles last season, 21 of them solo.

He is the son of Paul and Tami Schaller.

Under the direction of Heidelberg head coach Mike Hallett, the 2012 Heidelberg football team finished 9-2. The season was highlighted by a trip to the postseason for the first time since 1972.

A member of NCAA Division III and the highly competitive Ohio Athletic Conference, Heidelberg offers 20 varsity sports in its athletic program. Throughout the years, the Student Princes have claimed 51 regular season and tournament titles.
