Local Soccer Players Named to Premier League

Five high school girls soccer players were chosen to play in a select soccer league.

Congratulations to Jade Hammond of Newsome High School, Michelle Rodriguez of East Bay High School, Autumn Masters and Holly Turcich of Plant City High School and Jessica McClernan of Durant High School on being selected to the United Soccer Associations U-16 Girls Premier League Team.

The United Soccer Association's Premier League team features select club players from across 11 Florida counties to compete in competitive matches designed to highlight individual and team skills. Hammond, Rodriguez and Masters are making their first appearance, Turcich and McClernan their third.
