i9 Sports Introduces Inaugural T-Ball Program In Riverview

The new T-ball program is designed to have kids "baseball ready" coming this fall.

i9 Sports, a nationally recognized leader in youth sports, will offer a new T-ball league in Riverview this fall.

The league is designed so that every child who participates will be "baseball ready."

"We are going to apply the same organization, professionalism and overall fun of our other i9 sports programs to our T-ball program," said Chris Dietrich, an i9 Sports area program director. "Kids will have an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of how to throw, catch, bat and run the bases in a very positive environment."

i9's inaugural T-ball season will be played at St. Stephen Catholic School, 10424 Saint Stephen Circle, Riverview, and will begin Saturday, Sept. 17 and continue through Saturday, Nov. 5.

Given the various skill levels associated with different age groups, i9 Sports will focus on the development of basic baseball skills needed for future growth and success. Currently, teams are broken into two age groups, 3- to 4-year-olds and 5- to 6-year-olds.
