FishHawk Ranch Tennis Club Hosts Grand Opening Event

Hundreds of residents came out to enjoy the grand opening of the new FishHawk Ranch Tennis Club, 15921 Courtside View Drive in Lithia, April 16, within the Starling residential development.

Activities included a residents vs. pros exhibition match, children’s clinics and a spring cookout. There was also homemade strawberry shortcake, Italian Ice and novelty cake for all in attendance.

The tennis club is a facility created for residents of all ages to enjoy the sport, meet other players, compete and socialize. The new facility features a tennis lounge, pro shop and five Har-Tru clay courts including four green clay courts and a red clay stadium court with bleacher seating for spectators.

Hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m to 5 p.m.

The tennis club also is the new home for FishHawk Ranch’s Community Information Center, formerly located in Park Square.

The center offers information about all the builders currently active in FishHawk Ranch, including Starling, Chapman Crossing, the Garden District, Egret Landing, FishHawk Ridge, Kinglet Ridge and Tern Wood.
