Tiny Tots

HillsboroughCounty’s Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department is offering a unique opportunity for toddlers to participate in their first educational experience through the Tiny Tots Program. Registration is now open for tots ages 3-5 at five Hillsborough County locations, including the Brandon Community Center, 502 E. Sadie St., Brandon.

The Brandon program will begin Jan. 9 and will run Monday and Wednesday from 10 to 11:45 a.m. for eight weeks. The cost is $40.

Tiny Tots is a preschool preparedness program. Participants are taught how to share, respect others and follow directions. Tots use play to build strength and coordination, and art to inspire creativity. They also work on letter and number recognition.

The Tiny Tots Program also includes seasonal family activities, a tots graduation and the Tiny Tot Olympics, a decathlon of events geared for their age and skill level.
