Pit Bull Fun Day will be held Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Charles Lykes Arena at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 N. U.S. 301, Tampa. There will be shows, weight pull and hang time competitions, vendors, trophies, ribbons, drawings, giveaways and two conformation shows. Adoptable pit bulls will be on site.
Admission is $5 with half of the proceeds going to Florida Big Dog Rescue. Parking is $5 per car. Visitors are asked to use the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard entrance.
