The Bloomingdale Bandits will host tryouts for the spring season, January to June, on Saturday, Jan. 8 at 1 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Little League. Players wanting to try out should be 9 years old and under, born after May 1, 2001, to qualify. Players should bring baseball equipments to the tryouts including a hat and glove. The Bloomingdale Bandits are in their second season and are primarily a tournament team. The Bandits are ranked in the top 10 teams in the state of Florida USSSA and recently won the 2010 IBC Fall State Championship. For information, contact Keith Farina at (813) 514-5837.
