Bing Beat the Heat 5K

Hillsborough County’s Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department will hold the E.L. Bing Beat the Heat 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, June 16. The 5K begins at 7:30 a.m. and the 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 8:15 a.m. The competition will be held at the E.L. Bing Park, 7210 N. Taylor Road in Seffner.

Participation in the 1-Mile Fun Run is free. Registration to participate in the 5K is $20 for adults and $15 for those ages 18 and under. The first 75 registered runners will receive an event T-shirt.

Registration can be done by mail, or on the day of the event at 6:30 a.m. Mailed registrations should be submitted to Joe Soletti, All People’s Life Center, 6105 E. Sligh Ave., Tampa, FL 33619. Checks should be made payable to BOCC.
