Coyotes Lacrosse Registers Players for Spring Season

Registration will begin Oct. 24.

Due to the continued growth of the Fishhawk Coyotes youth lacrosse program, the program will host early registration for the upcoming spring season.

Registration will open for those returning players that played for the Coyotes last spring season. They will be able to register starting Oct.
24 and need to do so right away to assure a roster spot. That early registration will close on Oct. 31. Registration will start Nov. 1 on a first-come, first-served basis until the team limits are reached.  Registration will close Nov. 22 and a waiting list will be kept.

The Coyotes play out of the Fishhawk Sports Complex on FishHawk Boulevard in Lithia and are entering their fourth season competing in
the U.S. Lacrosse Gulf Coast Chapter.

"Each year the demand for Coyote lacrosse continues to increase as it's has become the elite youth lacrosse program in the entire Tampa area," said Coach Brian Lemon.

The Coyotes offer competitive lacrosse during the spring
season, which runs January through April, to all area boys and girls in first through eighth grade on their Rec, Youth and Middle School teams.

They also offer a summer program of skills, drills and instruction and a fall program with intra-squad games, which is currently in session with more than 220 boys and girls participating.

Due to the high demand, and unfortunately not enough field space and coaching to accommodate all of the players, the spring season will need to be limited again this year, said Lemon

The Coyotes will offer a girls Rec, Youth and Middle School team, and possibly two at each level.

For the boys, the Coyotes will cap the registration at 22-24 boys on
the Rec, Youth and Middle School A teams and 36-38 boys on the Rec, Youth and Middle School B teams - which will operate with a rotation schedule of players for different games to get all players game time.

All registration can be completed on the Coyotes website at
www.fishhawkcoyoteslacrosse.com. For questions, call vice president and director of coaching, Brian Lemon, at 813-689-2070 or email him at blemon@nll.com
