BMX Riders Hit the Track in Riverview

USA BMX Riverview, located at 12705 Balm-Boyette Rd., Riverview, features races each Saturday.

Each Saturday, an army of BMX cycling enthusiasts test their skills at USA BMX Riverview, 12705 Balm-Boyette Rd., Riverview.

The track has been in operation for more than five years, attracting an average of 75 regular riders age 3 to 75 years each weekend.

A USA Official BMX Training Facility, USA BMX Riverview, is a 58-acre nonprofit facility.

All riders must hold a valid membership with the USA BMX Sanction. Applications are available at the track's registration office, and membership is effective immediately once the application is completed and signed by the on-site clerk of the course.

Riders under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must also sign the membership application and provide the clerk with an official or unofficial copy of the rider's birth certificate for submission to the USA BMX. If applicable, a rider's driver's license can constitute sufficient form of identification as well.

Membership is $45 for one year, beginning on the day of application, $40 for a second family members and $35 for a third family member. Membership is valid at any USA BMX track across the U.S.A.

The cost to use the track is $5 for the open practice session on Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. and $7 for racing on Saturdays. Practice and registration takes place from 9 to 11 a.m. and the races get under way at 11:30 a.m.
