Bloomingdale Chorus to Perform at Saturday's Rays Game

A portion of ticket sales will go to the chorus to help fund its upcoming trip to Rome.

If you're headed to today's Rays game against the Kansas City Royals, you're in for an extra treat.

The Bloomingdale High School Chorus, under the direction of Jason Locker, will perform the National Anthem at 3:38 p.m. at Tropicana Field. There also will be a special performance of "God Bless America" in the seventh-inning stretch.

The Tampa Bay Rays have teamed up with the chorus to help the chorus raise funds for its upcoming trip to Rome. A portion of the $20 ticket sales sold will go to the choral department.
