Bloomingdale Boys Track Team Wins State Championship

The team captured the 4x800-meter relay in Jacksonville Saturday,

The Bloomingdale High School Boys Track Team ran away with a state title at the Class 4A championships in Jacksonville Saturday, May 4.

Despite winds and light rain, the Bulls team of Kevin Heron, John Bryant, Ryan Chadderton and Andrew LeBlanc, led by coach Steve Littleton, triumphed in the 4x800-meter relay, beating out runnerup Olympia by five seconds (8:09.72).

Also walking away with two medals was Bloomingdale's Julie Roggeman who placed sixth in the girls 800 and was a member of the Bull's 4x800 team, which placed seventh.
