1st Dash and Splash a Success

More than 200 participants were on hand for the event at Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center.

Despite near-storm conditions on Sunday, Sept. 9, children, families and athletes came out at 7 a.m. to participate in the first Dash and Splash Aquathon.

More than 200 participants and 15 vendors were on hand for the event the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center hopes will become an annual tradition.

The center credits Deb Peters, race director, and her team, along with volunteers, participants from all of BSAC programs and organizers Sue Gagain and Emily Zawlocki for the event's success.
