16th Annual FishHawk Road Race to Include Twilight Run

The event will take place Saturday, March 9.

It's time to dig out those running shoes.

The FishHawk Ranch Road Race is back for a 16th year with a brand-new Twilight Run.

While the timing has changed, the annual 5K race and 1-mile kids’ fun run at Park Square will once again rally FishHawk Ranch community members to raise funds for the area’s six top-rated schools – Bevis Elementary, FishHawk Creek Elementary, Stowers Elementary, Barrington Middle, Randall Middle and Newsome High.

Last year's race attracted more than 1,000 runners and raised $20,000 for the schools.

This year the race will begin 5 p.m. for the kids and at 5:30 p.m. for the 5K. The race will begin at Park Square and runners will meander through the neighborhoods.
