This week's Whiz Kid is Jessica Sawicki
Accomplishment: Sawicki was named Bloomingdale High School's Female Athlete of the Year.
Details: In addition, she was honored and received a $500 scholarship at the fourth annual Hillsborough County Scholar-Athlete Banquet held at Jefferson High School. To qualify, students had to score at least 1100 on the SAT and maintain a 3.0 grade-point average.

Sawicki played volleyball and ran track and field at Bloomingdale. She plans to attend the University of Florida where she will major in food science and human nutrition.
