Whiz Kid: Audrey Grace Hill

Audrey Grace Hill is among 12 students from throughout the county chosen to be a kids reporter for TIME Magazine's TIME for Kids.

WHO: This week's Whiz Kid is 10-year-old Audrey Grace Hill, a student at Bevis Elementary School.

ACCOMPLISHMENT: Some day, she'd like to be the editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine, or maybe a meteorologist for the Weather Channel.

But, in the meantime, Hill is thrilled to be one of 12 students across the country selected as a kids reporter for TIME for Kids, a magazine published by TIME Inc.

DETAILS: Hill beat out 500 applicants from around the country for the coveted post. The story that landed her one of the 12 reporters' slots was a profile on Maureen Massari who, after the death of her daughter, established the Jessica Rose Foundation to help families with children going through cancer treatment.

Hill loves to write and considers being named a kids reporter her biggest accomplishment. She said her dream assignment would be interviewing the Obama family, especially Malia and Sasha, or interviewing Justin Bieber.

During the coming year, Hill and fellow reporters will report the news from a kid's point of view in TIME for Kids. TIME For Kids is a weekly classroom news magazine that motivates kids to read. Issues cover a wide range of real-world topics kids love to learn about.
