News Report

Eisenhower Middle School recently received more than $350 in books though Usborne Books and More's Literacy for a Lifetime Program, according to Christine Ans, independent educational supervisor for Usborne Books.

Donations were collected from Beef O' Brady's in Riverview, Dairy Queen in Gibsonton, Car Wash on the Greens in Valrico and Ruth's Steak House in Riverview.

Eisenhower media specialist Erin Devlin was thrilled with the donation to the school's media center.

"I can't tell you how much it means to the students to have such an influx of new books," said Devlin. "Thank you as well to all of the generous business partners for helping to make this happen. What we have found is that when we provide kids with quality books, they read What a wonderful gift."
