Preparing to Choose a Career or College? Here's Some Help

Middle and high school students are invited to the fifth annual Career & College Fest.

Students are discovering that it's never too early to start planning for life beyond high school.

To help give middle and high school students a jumpstart on their college and career choices, Hillsborough County will host the fifth annual Career & College Fest Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Florida State Fairground Entertainment Hall.   

10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – high school students and families

 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – middle school students and families

 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – general public

The fest is an opportunity for students and their families to speak one-on-one with instructors and students from secondary and postsecondary programs, business and industry partners and college/technical school representatives about career pathways training, industry certifications, articulation agreements, and apprenticeships. 

Admission and parking are free.
