That's probably the expression that best describes first-time fair participant Lindsey White's chances of raising and showing the heavy-weight division champion pig at the 2012 Florida State Fair this weekend.

Yet, that is exactly what happened this past Sunday. White is a junior at Newsome High School and this is her first year raising competition livestock as a member of the Future Farmers of America.

Her pig, Bernard, tipped the scales at 307 pounds, an impressive outcome considering his starting weight in October was only 70 pounds.

White's interest in FFA stems from her genuine love for animals and her desire to pursue a career in veterinary science.

Judging from her performance so far, she is well on her way to achieving her aspirations.
