Newsome Marching Band Introduces New Show

The Wolfpack Marching Band will host its Marching Festival Oct. 27.

The Newsome High School Marching Band is once again in great form for its
2012 marching season.

Now 143 members strong, this Florida Marching Band Coalition finalist breaks out this year’s show, titled “The Undiscovered America.” After completing one full week of band camp and several mini-camps throughout the summer, this group of students is more prepared than ever before.

“To say that I'm proud of these students is an understatement," said Newsome band director Christian Finch. "In all my years of teaching, I've never had a band so invested and committed. This year's show is more
challenging than anything we've every tried before. They've embraced the challenge and are improving themselves every single day."
