Last year several Newsome band members participated in a Tampa Bay wide indoor percussion group consisting of students from several Hillsborough County Schools. This year Newsome was able to expand and form a group of its own, directed by Ryan Marsh and Clay Cottis.

“This has been an exciting opportunity to be able to form our own indoor performance ensemble unit this year," said Newsome Band Director Christian Finch. "We have so many talented young people and this has been a great growth experience for all of them.”
