London Boys' Choir, Band Performs at Bloomingdale

The Northampton School for Boys Big Band and Jazz Vocal Group played with the Bloomingdale High School Jazz Band and Ambassadors Show Choir.

The Northampton School for Boys Big Band and Jazz Vocal Group made a concert stop at Bloomingdale High School and performed with the Bloomingdale Jazz Band and Ambassadors Show Choir in a "Jazz Across the Pond" night of music.          

The NSB Jazz Vocal Group performed a half dozen songs, including "With a Little Help From My Friends" and "Soul Bossa Nova." The NSB Big Band wowed the audience performing jazz numbers, "Summer Never Ends," "Backrow Politics," featuring the trumpet section, "Afternoon" and  "Cry Me A River."

The two groups have performed bi-annual concert tours to New York and Los Angeles as well as to the UK's prestigious Music Conservatories and also at Oxford and Cambridge.            

The Bloomingdale musicians performed 10 songs with the Ambassadors singing "Eleanor Rigby," "Route 66" to "This Joint Is Jumpin" and the Jazz Band playing "How Deep is the Ocean" with vocals by Megan Wicks, "Clearwater" and "American Patrol."
