Kid's Community College Takes Christmas Program to Nursing Homes

The KKC International Baccalaureate Modeled Program is visiting nursing homes in Tampa.

Students at Kid's Community College-Southeast Elementary Charter School in Riverview are helping to make the season brighter for senior citizens this holiday season.

The kindergarten through second-grade students in the International Baccalaureate Modeled program has partnered with Feed Our Children Ministries to present a holiday program to nursing home residents.

The children performed Christmas songs and passed out gifts provided by Feed Our Children Ministries to residents at The Inn at University Village in Tampa Dec. 8.

And this Saturday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m., Kid's Community College Southeast first- and second-graders will perform and pass out gifts at Lakeshore Villas, 16001 Lakeshore Villas Dr., Tampa.

The KCC SE campus opened as an International Baccalaureate Modeled Elementary Charter School this year. KCC is in the first year of the three-year IB accreditation process.
