The Hillsborough County Elementary Math Council and Westfield Brandon are hosting Math at the Mall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12.
This annual event provides kindergarten through fifth-grade students an opportunity to apply mathematics in a real-world setting. Students will complete a mathematical journey through the mall collecting data and applying problem-solving skills. Estimation stations will be set up throughout the mall where students can put their estimating skills to the test. Several elementary schools will host a hands-on activity table where students can use their problem-solving skills to complete a mathematical activity.
The event will take place at Westfield Brandon, 459 Brandon Town Center, in the Dick's Sporting Goods court.
