Make Your Own Solar Cooker at the Hillsborough County Extension Service

Join the County’s Extension Service and learn how to make and use a solar cooker Participants are asked to bring some basic supplies, and by the end of the workshop they should have a functioning solar cooker.  Basic instructions for cooking and some recipes will be provided.

After the end of the class, participants will be able to prepare for power outages or emergencies, have hot meals if the power goes off, use the sun to cook your food and reduce energy costs.
