LifePath Hospice Needs Volunteers

LifePath Hospice is seeking compassionate and committed people to volunteer with patients and families. There is a great need for volunteers to serve patients across Hillsborough County.

Volunteers bring compassion and companionship to patients with advanced illnesses. They perform any number of activities, such as reading to patients, helping at mealtime, providing a much-needed break for a caregiver, creating a legacy project or just sitting quietly offering support.

LifePath Hospice will hold three days of volunteer training at the Strawberry Ridge Community Center, 3419 State Road 60 in Valrico. The training sessions run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, July 27, Friday August 3 and Friday, August 10. Volunteers must pre-register and attend all three training days.
