Hillsborough State Committeeman A.J. Matthews announces the first of three Constitutional Amendment Workshops Saturday, July 7, at 9:30 a.m. at the Hillsborough County Republican Party Headquarters, 1602 Oakfield Dr., Suite 207, Brandon.
Twelve proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution will appear on the ballot during the general election this November. Matthews has planned three workshops to discuss these proposed amendments prior to the Republican Party of Florida Quarterly Board Meeting in August, when the board will determine the official RPOF position on each of the proposed amendments.
During the first workshop, Matthews will review and discuss proposed amendments 1-4. Visit the Florida Department of State website to look over these proposed amendments prior to attending the workshops.
Additional workshops are scheduled July 21 and Aug. 4 to discuss the remaining proposed amendments.
