Hillsborough County Schools Superintendent MaryEllen Elia will be the guest speaker at the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce Educational Update Luncheon Monday, April 11 at noon. The event will take place at the Brandon/Tampa Embassy Suites, 10220 Palm River Road, Tampa. She will discuss current issues relating to eeducation including innovative educational programs, local test scores, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's Empowering Teachers Grant and the governor's transition team.
Registration is $18 for chamber members, $23 for nonmembers.
