Help Needed To Get Traffic Signal Installed

The Community needs our help for the proposed traffic light at the entrance of our neighborhood. The permits for the three traffic signals (Starling, Randall & Newsome) are bundled together & the County is balking on approval for all three since Randall & Newsome's traffic don't warrant lights yet. Newland will be funding this project, so money is not the issue. We need this traffic light and that it needs to be installed ASAP for safety reasons.  Here's the contact info, please start calling or emailing: Public Works is 307-1707 & School Safety is 272-5600. Request they approve the permit for the traffic signals on FishHawk Blvd at Starling, Newsome High School & Randall Middle School so the lights can be installed ASAP. Hundreds of students & residents cross this busy road everyday. The County may say the traffic counts don't warrant the signals in front of the schools, but mention Newland is funding the project, so it just makes sense to make the roads as safe as possible without delay. We need to get as many people to start calling/writing today to ask the County to approve the FishHawk Blvd Traffic Light Permits ASAP for the safety of our residents & students who drive & must walk across this busy road.
