Water Taxi Could Link Gibsonton and MacDill
Officials are studying various routes for water taxis in Tampa Bay, according to a story on TBO.com.
One of the many reasons for a crowded commute in Bloomingdale is that 80 percent of the personnel at MacDill Air Force Base reside in the Brandon area and commute to MacDill each day, according to Air Force Col. Lenny J. Richoux. Many of those personnel live in Bloomingdale and FishHawk Ranch, and any way to shorten their commute is likely to get some attention.
