Riverview, South Shore Chambers to Host Political Forum

The forum will take place Oct. 11 at the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa East/Brandon.

The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, has invited candidates to speak at the 2012 Political Forum scheduled for Oct. 11 at the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa East/Brandon.

The two-hour forum is set to begin at 6 p.m.

"The evening has been designed to educate and bring awareness to our community and [to] give the candidates an opportunity to speak on issues affecting us on the local and state levels," said Tanya Doran, executive director of the Riverview chamber.

Arrive early; a standing-room-only crowd is expected. Seating is first-come, first-served and there is no charge to attend. A cash bar and appetizers will be provided.
